Do I need to install an app?

No. GatherPet runs in your browser. Add it to your home screen and it works like an app. Nothing to download, nothing to update.

How do reports get into GatherPet?

Three ways. Forward the lab’s email to your private GatherPet address. Upload a file straight from your phone. Or photograph a paper report and upload the photo. A CT or MRI that lives on an imaging centre’s website can be saved as a link too.

I have years of old reports lying around. Can they go in?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and they should. Forward or upload them any time, in any order. Each report files under the date printed on it, so a 2023 report takes its correct place in 2023. The history builds itself.

What kinds of reports does it understand?

Accepted Answer

Blood tests, biochemistry, urine tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, biopsies, infection tests, vaccination cards, and prescriptions. Anything else is still stored safely under your pet. Nothing is ever thrown away.

Does my vet need an account to view a shared link?

Accepted Answer

No. The link opens in any browser, on any phone or clinic computer. No sign-up, no app, no password unless you add one. The whole history, readable in about a minute.

Can GatherPet tell me if my pet’s results are normal?

Accepted Answer

No, and that is deliberate. It shows the lab’s numbers next to the lab’s own printed ranges, and it lines the same test up across years so your vet can see the trend. Reading them is your vet’s job. A product that plays doctor with your pet’s bloodwork is not a product you should trust.

Can my partner or family see the records too?

Yes. Invite a family member by email and you share one account: both of you see everything and both can add reports. It is also a safety net. If one of you ever loses access, the other still holds the records.

What if I lose my phone?

You lose nothing. Records never live on the phone. Sign in from any device with your email and everything is there, from the first report to the latest.

Can I take all my data out?

Accepted Answer

Any time, in one download: every original file, organized by pet with readable names, plus a page that lets you browse the whole history offline. It is your data. Leaving with it is a feature, not a fight.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Accepted Answer

Collecting new reports pauses until you subscribe. Everything already stored stays readable and downloadable. Nothing is deleted for letting a trial lapse. Subscribe whenever you are ready and it all resumes exactly where it was.
